BBACT's 2005 conference

This year’s BBACT conference was held for the first time at The Ramada Hotel in Peterborough and was attended by 60 blind and partially sighted entrepreneurs from all over the UK.

Sessions included

  • “Strategies for Achieving Business Growth” lead by John Wilson, one-time chief executive of the Institute of Management:
  • “Upping our Energy Levels” lead by Karen Devine, nutritional therapist, naturopathy and homotoxicology:
  • and the first meeting of BBACT’s network of complementary therapists.

100% of those individuals who completed their final conference evaluation forms said that they would be planning to come back again next year....so why not  contact us to find out more and request a copy of our 2005 Conference Report to see what you missed!

BBA and BBACT become one Organisation

In 2005, members of our sister organisation the Blind Business Association, voted to merge with BBACT.  The  idea behind the amalgamation is to enable previous BBA members to more directly benefit from the Activities of BBACT and to increase our voice and influence within the field in which we work.

Although the BBA's web-site remains on-line, all enquiries previously channelled through BBA should now be directed at BBACT via our helpline on 0845 0450696 or by E-mailing us
